On the 28th January Canoe descended upon The Stash (Avoriaz) with a handful of writers from publications such as Stuff, Men's Health, Loaded, Metro and The Independent. The Stash proved the perfect testing ground for Burtons hardware as everyone got to feel the game changing effects of EST, THe Channel and V Rocker.
With three long days chocked full of riding, the guys had plenty of oppor
tunity to settle in to the gear and start pulling tricks that they hadn't thought possible. Feedback on the equipment was glowing, fair to say that Burton has recruited a few more loyal fans.
Conditions were optimal, blue skies all day every day, with a good amount
of snow to mess around with and to cushion the inevitable stacks.
After a long day riding we headed back to Rude Chalets to get a good feed and setup the next days ride from the fleet of Burton demo stock they have. We even found a bit of time for night sledging (which is, surely, the future of winter sports)
As well as being a great time and forging strong bonds with influential writers in the media, The Stash and Burton's hardware will be well covered across all the publications that were represented on the trip, both in print and online.
