The December issue of Men’s Health features Burton all over a ten page package edited by Matt Bean entitled ‘Your White Hot Winter’.

To start things off, Jake is included on the contributor’s page introducing the section. In the opening page of the section, a Fix as well as C02 EST Bindings and AK 2L Stagger Pants are featured on a model. Inside, a collage by Jesse White combines snapshots of Jake, Shaun, and other riders to give a first hand visualization of what the US Open is all about. A quote from Hannah, regarding ‘mingling’ on the mountain, is included next to the collage. Featured at the end of the piece is an essay by Jake, speaking about the elements that go in to a great winter. This coverage comes with an approximate ad value of $184,000!

Men’s Health has a circulation of 1.9 million.

Burton is all over XXL’s December Issue!

The Shred Ready page includes the Farm with the C60 bindings and the Jeremy Jones with the Cartel bindings, the only snowboards represented in the entire issue. The Ronin Cheetah Jacket is seen twice on rapper Jadakiss, once in the table of contents and again on a full page in ‘The Cool’ section. The AK 2L Cyclic Jacket is also featured in ‘The Cool’ spread, worn by HBO’s The Wire actor Anwan Glover. XXL has a circulation of 236,000.

Burton is featured on six pages of the November issue of Complex!

The Burton Fix is included in the Snowboard trend piece about boards with reverse camber. The board is pictured along with the EST CO2 bindings. There are two full page shots of a models wearing the Launch Jacket with the AK L Cyclic Pant carrying the Fix Board with the Cartel EST Bindings and a model wearing the Burton One Piece. Also shown in this issue is a model wearing the Combo Under Glove along with a Burton scarf and a great shot of the Un…Inc board in action.

Complex has a circulation of 335,000.

The November issue of Fast Company includes a full-page piece about the CO2 EST bindings in the ‘Next Innovation’ section.

Editor and friend Mark Borden spoke with Rob Sprague on how the CO2 EST binding was inspired by the Aeron chair. The features of the CO2 EST binding are described and pictured, along with the similarities and differences of the binding compared to the chair. The binding is also pictured in the table of contents page.

Fast Company has a circulation of 750,000.

Sapphire, Driver X, Lodi, Troop, Anon Realm, Cosette Beanie, Ronin One Piece and Polka Square are all featured in the Slack magazine. Slack is a German boardsport and lifestyle magazine and averages 43.000 readers.

A video about the Stiletto binding is included online in the 2009 Outside Winter Buyers Guide video section.

Out of all of the products that were picked for the guide, only eight videos were made. Associate Editor Alicia Carr describes all of the binding’s great features, highlighting the affordable price option ‘that doesn’t sacrifice comfort.’

Outside.com receives 75,000 views per month.

Burton dominates the Outside Buyers Guide.

The total ad value for these inclusions in the Winter Buyers Guide is $300,000. Outside Buyers Guide has a circulation of 700,000 and because this is their annual issue it has an extended life on newsstands throughout the winter season.
