When we caught up with Filip from GunsNBombs over the holidays he shared an anecdote about how he was regarded as one of the best snowboarders in Denmark in the early 90s. Seeing as there weren't many snowboarders in his native town of Copenhagen, competition was nil and he rose through the ranks to become "pro." Now living in Los Angeles, it's no wonder big DJs/producers like Filip who still ride regard Burton as the pinnacle of "all things snowboarding." Recently, we were reminded of this as Filip encouraged fellow DJ/rider Tyler from Classixx to shop Burton LA and pick up some new gear before heading to Mammoth.
