Calgary provided unseasonably warm weather for the Burton Women’s Progression Camp this past weekend at Canada Olympic Park.
Everyone had a blast with the wonderful female instructors and the small group sizes. It was a "fun environment to learn in, everyone in the group was super supportive of each other and no one felt intimidated."
The weekend camp allowed all participants to dial their skills in a comfortable, supportive environment with other women of their ability level. 46 women came out with a range of abilities from first time riders to those ready to hit the park features.
A group of girlfriends noticing the information on the Burton website made the trek from Saskatchewan (8 hours away) to gain more confidence on their boards. "We are so happy we found this camp on the Burton Website, we drove all the way from Saskatoon (Sask) to take part. Sooo worth the drive and would do it again in a heart beat."
Each day wrapped up with hugs, smiles, exchange of contact information to go riding together and of course the wonderful goodie bags.
